National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) The Maine Chapter of NAWIC generally meets in the Augusta-Lewiston/Auburn area one evening a month. There are additional chapters throughout the United States; visit NAWIC'S national site to find information on them.

Maine Centers for Women, Work, and Community Committed to improving the economic lives of Maine women and their families. Their focus areas are Career Building, Self-Employment Assistance, Money Management, and Leadership. MCWWC has 18 sites offering a wide variety of programs.
