Welcome - we're glad you found us!

Have you ever considered a career in the trades? In technical fields? In transportation? Then you've come to the right place! We provide you access to trade, technical, and transportation careers, and support you when you get there.

We offer basic and advanced training, job-placement assistance, advocacy, and networking opportunities. We've got up-to-date information on careers in construction and related fields, and we assist employers looking for a twenty-first century workforce. We partner with the Maine Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration to place our JobBank members into On-The-Job Training (OJT) positions.

We will be at the Common Ground Country Fair in Unity

Join our JobBank - our services are free to members. Just fill out our JobBank form and then we'll arrange an interview with our Career Development and Training Director.

Come with us on field trips to job sites so you can get an up-close look at the opportunities that are out there, or come to one of our "Introduction" workshops. If you've thought about apprenticeships in the trades, we can help you out there as well.

Call for more information on our organization. If you are in Augusta, stop by our office, meet the staff, and spend some time in our Resource Room exploring different careers. Download, print, and take the Self-Assessment Survey to explore further.

Join Women Unlimited - you'll be part of a strong organization that will be behind you as you grow in your career, and you'll have opportunities to share what you've learned and to get involved in the things that matter to you. If you work hard, we'll work even harder for you!
